This Silk Twill Mikado is a unique and rare fabric. It's weight and drape is matched to a heavy taffeta, but with a tight twill weave. This material is most suited for fine tailored, formal designs such as dinner jackets, skirts and dresses as well as voluminous silhouettes of the 1950's. It is also perfect for creating stunning volumes and shapes in bridal gowns or Avant-Garde Design.
